  • "Membership", "Account", or "Subscription" refers to your paid access to exclusive content.

Membership and Subscriptions

Membership Types

TEFLHandbook offers the following membership options:

  • 1-Year Individual Membership: Grants access to all member content for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This membership is set to automatically renew each year unless cancelled before the renewal date. Members can manage or cancel their subscriptions at any time via the "My Account" section of the website. Cancelling the subscription will stop future renewals but will not affect access for the remainder of the current paid period. TEFLHandbook does not provide refunds for auto-renewed memberships.
  • Lifetime Membership: Grants ongoing access to all member content for the lifetime of the TEFLHandbook service. This is a one-time payment and does not require renewal. If the service is discontinued, TEFLHandbook will make reasonable efforts to notify lifetime members in advance. Lifetime memberships are non-transferable.

Organisation Accounts

TEFLHandbook offers organisation accounts for schools, institutions, and businesses. These accounts provide 1-year memberships for groups of 5, 10, 20, or 30 users. All organisation accounts are set to auto-renew annually, and an admin user can manage account holders via the dashboard. Sharing credentials outside of the licensed user group is prohibited. Organisation accounts are subject to the same terms of use as individual accounts.

Payments

All prices are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD). Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards and secure 1-click checkout. Payments are processed securely via a third-party provider.

Sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout based on the country associated with the purchaser's payment method.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all initial membership purchases. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your original purchase—no questions asked.

This guarantee does not apply to auto-renewals. It is your responsibility to manage subscription settings via the "My Account" page. We do not provide refunds for auto-renewed memberships or unused time after the initial 30-day period.

Renewals

The 1-year membership and organisation accounts are recurring subscriptions and will automatically renew each year unless cancelled in advance. No refunds are issued for auto-renewals.

Use of Digital Content

All downloadable resources and lesson materials on TEFLHandbook are protected by copyright and are licensed for personal or authorised organisational use only.

You may:

  • Download and print materials for your own classroom use.

You may not:

  • Share, resell, distribute, or upload our materials elsewhere.
  • Use content for commercial or public redistribution.

Violation of these terms may result in account termination without refund and possible legal action.

Account Access and Termination

You are responsible for safeguarding your login information and for all activities under your account. Sharing login details with others outside of licensed use is not allowed.

TEFLHandbook reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account without notice or refund for violations of these terms.

Video Rights and Fair Use Disclaimer

Some of our lesson plans reference or incorporate YouTube and other third-party videos. We do not host or claim ownership of this video content. All video rights remain with their original copyright owners.

In accordance with Section 107 of the U.S. Copyright Act, we believe our use of video content qualifies as fair use for educational purposes.

Hyperlinking to Our Website

The following organisations may link to our site without prior written approval:
