Advanced phrasal verbs
Overview
In this second advanced-level lesson on conspiracy theories, we'll shift our focus to phrasal verbs. Students will take a closer look at common yet complex component of the English language. The aim is to demystify phrasal verbs, making them more accessible and practical for students to use in everyday conversation.
The lesson plan includes a suggested boardwork activity that illustrates one way to present the topic. After this, students will engage in several low-resource collaborative grammar activities, challenging students to create humorous sentences using phrasal verbs. To wrap up the session, we've planned a fun group game based on popular conspiracy theories that the students looked at earlier in the unit.
