Currency and prices
Overview
In this beginner ESL classroom lesson plan, students will learn how to express prices in English using different currencies. The lesson aims to provide students with the necessary skills to comprehend and convey pricing information in English.
The lesson plan starts with a couple of optional warmer activities that revise some of the previously covered material on the course. It also includes sample boardwork that offers one way to present the topic. Additionally, there are several low-resource classroom activities where students will practice working with prices in different currencies. To encourage further study, there is a suggested homework task, and as usual, the lesson wraps up with an idea for a classroom game.
