Present simple negative & opinions
Overview
In this lesson, we focus on the grammar of present simple negative forms while incorporating some useful language for expressing opinions. Knowing how to use these simple constructions will help your students to better communicate their thoughts and express their preferences.
To begin the lesson, we offer an optional warm-up activity where we review the previous homework assignment. We also provide notes on sample boardwork to introduce the target language for the lesson. The lesson includes several low-resource classroom activities where the students work collaboratively to share positive and negative opinions. A suggested homework task is included that aligns with the lesson content. Finally, we wrap with a fun classroom game that reinforces the lesson's target language.
