Daily routine and time
Overview
Welcome to our beginner ESL classroom lesson plan on daily routine and time. In this lesson, we focus on helping our students learn to talk about their routine activities and express them along with the time. Mastering this skill will be a valuable asset for our students as they navigate their daily lives, whether at work, school or in their personal lives.
We start with a couple of optional warmer activities that revise some of the previously covered material on the course. This is followed by sample boardwork that offers one way to present the target language. We then move on to several low-resource classroom activities where the students work with these newly learned concepts and apply them to their lives. As always, we end the lesson with a suggested homework task and an idea for a classroom game.
