Vocabulary and speaking
Overview
In this first lesson on the topic of entertainment for advanced ESL students, we'll focus on various types of entertainment. The students will learn how to discuss different forms of entertainment, enhancing their vocabulary and improving their ability to discuss their preferences and opinions on these topics.
The lesson plan begins with a suggested boardwork activity that reviews key vocabulary related to entertainment. Students will then participate in several classroom activities, engaging in collaborative speaking tasks. These discussions will give them the chance to share their experiences and thoughts on different entertainment mediums. To wrap things up, we've included a fun group game to ensure the lesson ends on a high note.
